Iowa State Flags

Iowa state flags display the state's motto right in the center. The motto, "Our liberties we price and our rights we will maintain," has taken this popular corn-producing state through many times of hardship. The flag also shows off the national bird, the bald eagle. This eagle, in fact, is holding a banner with the motto in its mouth. On the right is a red stripe, and on the left is a blue stripe.
