Vermont State Flags

Vermont state flags celebrate the Green Mountain State with traditional colors and arrangement. The Vermont state flag is a traditional blue background flag with the state seal. The foreground depicts a large pine tree, a cow and bundles of wheat. This pays tribute to Vermont's past and present as a farming state. The motto "Freedom and Unity" is written on a red banner at the bottom, with the famous Green Mountains in the background. It is very similar to many other state flags, but it is a sharp contrast to the colorful and bold Maryland state flag. Nonetheless, the Vermont state flag is a traditional and well-known flag.
